Another Fall...

Crispy days!  Feels like Fall.  Steven is home with us, and our son Hayden will be home from his mission in Seoul Korea in 11 days.  It's interesting how kids can come and go once they get up past 18.   We have been Mom, Dad and two daughters for awhile, and will soon be up another two.  Yes... we will definately be using a gallon of milk a day, if not more. 

Christmas is coming.....

It's a little less than two weeks and Christmas will be here. This week we enjoyed a family gathering as a preview to Christmas. Our daughter Jocelyn and her husband John and children will be visiting his family in Arizona for Christmas this year. This required an early gift exchange among the little cousins who pick names each year. The gift is usually something they picked from the dollar store for the person whose name they chose. The adults have a "less than 10$" white elephant exchange. We enjoyed a "taco" dinner together.

Welcome to Montgomery Musings, a bloggspot dedicated to the Montgomery family. It has been a pleasure to visit the bloggs of many friends and family that we decided to jump in and join up. It's not like we need something else to do, but this does seem to be quite worth the effort.
Fall is in the air here in North Carolina. Holidays are soon upon us and that always puts on in a reflective mode.
